Investigation into Infant's Death at 802 Seminar
November 3, 2017 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of an infant at 802 Seminar about 12:50 p.m. on Thursday (November 2).
The identity of the child is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers H. Hay and A. Vinogradov reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a call for assistance from Houston Fire Department personnel and found a female infant lying unresponsive in an apartment at the above address. There were no obvious signs of injury. She was transported to Houston Northwest Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is pending the child's cause of death.
