Investigation into Fatal Crash at 12300 Bissonnet
November 1, 2017 - A pedestrian critically injured in a hit-and-run crash at 12300 Bissonnet about 7:55 p.m. on October 16 has died from her injuries.
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer A. Sampson reported:
The driver of a vehicle of unknown make or model was traveling eastbound on Bissonnet and struck the victim as she crossed the street not at a crosswalk. The driver of the unknown vehicle fled the scene prior to officers' arriving on scene. The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition where doctors pronounced her deceased on Wednesday (November 1).
