Investigation into Shooting at 8600 Mullins Drive

May 23, 2017 - HOUSTON - Houston police are investigating the shooting of an infant at 8600 Mullins Drive about 5:30 p.m. on Monday (May 22). 

The one-year-old male victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. 

HPD Homicide Division Officers R. Moss and E. May reported: 

The victim and his mother were traveling southbound on Mullins Drive from Beechnut when they passed a dark-colored or black SUV traveling northbound.  As they passed the SUV, shots were fired from inside the vehicle.  The child was struck in both legs by the gunfire.  The mother was not injured.
