Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12805 Bissonnet
June 26, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and woman in an apparent murder/suicide incident at 12805 Bissonnet about 4:10 p.m. last Friday (June 23).
The female victim is identified as Linda Chang, 68. The suspect is identified as her husband, Tien-Lai Hsu, 75. Both suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhodes and Officer D. Nabors reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address and found the victim and suspect unresponsive inside a vehicle. Both had been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary indications are the suspect was despondent over a terminal illness and fatally shot his wife and then himself.
The investigation is continuing.
