Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 19100 Glenwest

January 3, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 19100 Glenwest about 11:35 p.m. last Thursday (December 29).  

THe identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Daignault and Officer R. Lujan reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and, as they approached the location, saw a vehicle leaving the scene at a high rate of speed.  Officers stopped the vehicle and detained the persons inside for questioning.  Officers then found the victim lying on the passageway of the second floor of the apartment complex at the above address.  He appeared to have sustained gunshot wounds.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.  

According to witnesses, several male suspects entered the apartment and demanded property at gunpoint.  At this time, the suspects remain at-large.
