Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 10411 South Drive
February 27, 2017 - Houston police arrested a juvenile male in the fatal stabbing of a man at 10411 South Drive about 2:50 p.m. on Saturday (February 25).
The suspect is being referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation Department authorities on a charge of murder for his role in the killing of his father, Charles Taylor, 34.
Because he is a juvenile, a photo of the suspect and his identity are not available for release.
HPD Homicide Division Officers B. Roberts and D. Nabors reported:
After he was stabbed in the neck by his son, Mr. Taylor left the family's apartment in an attempt to get assistance and collapsed at a neighbor's door. Paramedics transported Taylor to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. The suspect was taken into custody without incident at the scene.
