Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6300 Will Clayton Parkway

April 17, 2017 -Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 6300 Will Clayton Parkway at about 9:30 a.m. last Thursday (April 13).

The identity of the male victim, 56, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Hall and Officer C. Sartor reported:

The victim was driving a blue GMC C1500 pickup truck westbound at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane and struck a parked City of Houston Public Works truck.  A crew with the Public Works vehicle was filling pot holes in the roadway.  The victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

The investigation is continuing.
