Investigation into Shooting at 5800 Renwick
April 13, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of three juveniles at 5800 Renwick about 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday (April 12).
The victims, a female, 11, and two males, 16, were transported to area hospitals with non life-threatening wounds.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Sturdivant and Officer W. Gilbert reported:
The victims were walking from the La Plaza Apartments at 5909 Glenmont and passing through a strip center parking lot at the above address, which backs up to the apartment complex. At that time, two unknown suspects in a white sport utility vehicle drove by and fired shots at the victims.
There are no known witnesses to the shooting at this time.
