UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Charged in 2015 Murder at 7100 Jetty Lane
March 23, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the death of a man found at 7100 Jetty Lane about 2 p.m. on October 17, 2015.
The suspect, Jeffery Solomon (b/m, 21), is charged with murder in the 183rd State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Darius Gatlin, 28, whose remains were discovered at the above address. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences determined Gatlin's cause of death to be by blunt force and sharp force trauma.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.A. Holbrook and Senior Police Officer J. Roscoe reported:
A group of people walking in a forested area at the above address smelled a foul odor and located human remains covered in dirt. Police were called and investigators recovered skeletal remains.
Further investigation and DNA testing by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences identified the remains as Darius Gatlin, wreported missing on September 11, 2015. Solomon was identified as the suspect in this case and he was arrested on Tuesday (March 22) without incident.
