Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5207 Airline Drive
March 21, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5207 Airline Drive about 12 p.m. last Friday (March 18).
The victim, Melvin Moore, 32, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Hogue and W. Gilbert reported:
Mr. Moore, an employee of an armored car company, was servicing a drive-up ATM at a bank at the above address. While tending to the machine, an unknown male suspect exited the back seat of a black, four-door car and shot Moore. The suspect then got back in the vehicle, which fled westbound toward the North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45). Moore was then transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
The shooter is described only as a black male.
