HPD Releases Surveillance Photos of Possible Kidnapping Victim and Suspects

February 6, 2016 - Houston police have released surveillance photos of a victim who appeared to have been taken by force at 1900 Blalock about 7:05 p.m. last Wednesday (Feb. 3).

The victim, described only as a white or Hispanic male, is believed to have been taken by three suspects described only as Hispanic males.  Surveillance photos of the possible victim and suspects, as well as the vehicle in which they were traveling, are attached to this news release.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhoads and Officer S. Glaze reported:

Witnesses stated the victim ran into the Stop N' In convenience store at the above address and began talking to the clerk.  As he was talking to the clerk, he glanced at the entrance of the store and then attempted to hide behind the enclosed counter area after he observed the three male suspects enter the store.  When the victim attempted to open the door and hide inside the counter area, the clerk pushed him out and locked the door.  The three suspects, who appeared to have pursued the victim into the store, then went to the area where the victim was standing and grabbed him.  They then began punching him repeatedly.  During the struggle, several food racks and displays were knocked over.  The three suspects then dragged the victim out of the store and forced him into a white two-door extended cab pickup truck, believed to be a late model Nissan Frontier.

Two of the suspects then returned to the interior of the business and attempted to clean up the damage they had caused.  The males then fled with the victim in the truck traveling north on Blalock.
