Investigating into Fatal Shooting at 6759 Madden Lane
December 27, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 6759 Madden Lane at about 5 p.m. on Monday (December 26).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officer D. Williamson and E. Wohlgemuth reported:
Two individuals were working in a field near an abandoned house when they smelled an odor coming from the house. The two men looked into the house and observed a black male lying face down on the floor. Officer arrived on scene and observed the victim deceased from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
The victim's cause of death and identity are pending autopsy results by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
