Fatal Crash at 1000 Ferguson Way
December 21, 2016 - A man shot at 700 70th Street about 10:25 p.m. on December 17 has died from his wounds.
The victim, Juan Diaz, 53, was transported to an area hospital where, on Monday (December 19), he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Officers R. Ridel and K. Ferguson reported:
Mr. Diaz had just returned from the store to his place of employment at the above address where a birthday party was being held in his honor. He was shot while seated in his vehicle. Witnesses described the suspect only as a white or Hispanic male who fled the scene in a gray or black-colored four-door sedan, possibly a Mazda.
