Fatal Crash at 1000 Ferguson Way
December 21, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1000 Ferguson Way about 2:55 p.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 20).
The identity of the deceased male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Vanderbull and Officer C. Sartor reported:
The victim was operating a stolen blue Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on Ferguson Way and being pursued by an HPD patrol vehicle with its lights and siren activated. The motorcyclist lost control of the bike while traveling at a high rate of speed, was ejected and then struck a silver Nissan Versa traveling westbound on Ferguson Way. The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. The motorcycle continued on and struck a white Ford van and a white Dodge Ram parked in separate driveways. No other persons were injured.
The investigation is continuing.
