2nd Update: Wanted Fugitive Sought in December 2014 Murder
December 15, 2016 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect who pleaded guilty to the fatal shooting of a man found at 6600 Harbor Town Drive about 1:45 p.m. on December 28, 2014.
The suspect, Jose Luis Hernandez (H/m, 22), is charged with murder in the 338th State District Court for his role in the killing of Bryan Blanco, 17.

Another suspect, Frank Marinero (H/m, 23), is charged with murder in the same court and has been sentenced to 99 years for his role in Mr. Blanco's murder.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants C. Sturdivant, C. Smith, T. Pool, Senior Police Officers D. Arnold and K. Lovelace and Officer S. Sylvester reported:
Mr. Blanco was discovered by passers-by in a park at the above address. The witnesses then called 9-1-1. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Blanco deceased. He had suffered gunshot wounds. Further investigation led to the identities of Hernandez and Marinero as suspects in this case and they were arrested without incident and charged on June 27, 2015.
Jose Luis Hernandez, who is a Mexican national, failed to appear for his sentencing hearing today (December 15) and is believed to be headed to Mexico.
