Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 1403 Copeland
December 12, 2016 - The fatal stabbing of a man that occurred at 1403 Copeland at about 7:45 a.m. today will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The deceased man, Donavon Strahan, 31, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Stark and G. Sullivan reported:
Officers responded to a report of a male stabbed during a domestic dispute at the above address. A female told investigators she and Mr. Strahan became involved in a physical argument. During the argument, the woman stated she stabbed Strahan, who was later pronounced dead. The woman was questioned and released after it was determined the incident would be referred to a grand jury.
The investigation is continuing.
