Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 2459 South Braeswood
August 26, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a woman found at 2459 South Braeswood about 8 p.m. on Wednesday (August 24).
The suspect, Kenneth Michael Dunn (w/m, 54) is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Dina Corpus Cardenas, 38, of Houston, who died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant N. Ruland and Officers K. Fregia and R. Ridel reported:
According to witnesses, Ms. Cadenas got into an altercation in a parking lot at the above address. She was heard yelling for help and then seen exiting a dark-colored SUV. Cardenas ran toward a nearby business where she collapsed from multiple stab wounds. Witnesses attempted to provide medical assistance but were unsuccessful. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived on scene and pronounced Cardenas deceased.
Further investigation identified Dunn as the suspect in this case. He was taken into custody on Thursday (August 25) without incident and subsequently charged.
