Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3560 Dixie Drive
August 8, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman found at 3560 Dixie Drive about 6:20 a.m. on Sunday (August 7).
The identity of the victim, 22, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer T. Miller and C. Hogue reported:
A nearby neighbor found the victim lying outside her apartment at the above address. She had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
