Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4419 June
August 8, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 4419 June about 8:20 p.m. on Sunday (August 7).
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Fregia and J. Saldana reported:
The victim was found lying in the front yard of his residence at the above address near his car. According to witnesses, a black male and a black female were in the yard along with the victim. Witnesses heard a gunshot and then saw the victim lying in the yard near the male and female. The male and female were then seen running into the victim's house through the front door immediately after the shooting. Shortly after, a gray Dodge Avenger was seen fleeing from the location.
At this time, there are no known suspects.
