Investigation into Male Found Fatally Shot at 9601 West Montgomery
August 5, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 9601 West Montgomery about 11:20 p.m. on Thursday (August 4).
The victim, William Tisdell, 30, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another male sustained unknown injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Olive and Officer S. Sylvester reported:
Mr. Tisdell and two friends went to the Garden City Apartments. As they were leaving the location, an unknown suspect fired several shots at their vehicle. Tisdell was struck by the gunfire. The driver then drove the vehicle to the HPD North Patrol Station at the above address where Tisdell was pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.
