Investigation into Fatal Crash at 2700 West Orem
April 18, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 2700 West Orem about 4:20 a.m. on Sunday (April 17).
The male victim, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Pate and Officer F. Flynn reported:
The victim was driving a white Nissan Altima westbound on West Orem when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree in the median. A female passenger, 18, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
