Update: Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 600 Franklin
October 20, 2015 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a deceased male found at 600 Franklin about 9:40 a.m. on July 30.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences ruled his death an accidental drowning, but has been unable to determine his identity through fingerprints and dental records. A composite sketch of the male, described only as a white male, 40 to 50 years of age, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, and about 120 pounds, is attached to this news release.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Garcia and Officer C. Hogue reported:
Employees of the Harris County Flood Control District were doing maintenance on Buffalo Bayou when they saw what appeared to be a body in the water near the above address. The HPD Dive Team responded to the scene and recovered the body of a deceased male from the bayou.
