HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Rodriguez and Officer M. Burrow reported:

A friend of Mr. Gboyah became concerned after she called him multiple times with no answer.  Gboyah had been ill the previous week and the friend went to his residence to check on him.  When she arrived, she knocked on the door and then entered.  She continued through the apartment until she found Gboyah deceased in the bedroom.    Gboyah had suffered blunt force trauma and was found on the floor.  Houston Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced Gboyah deceased.

Investigators learned Baimba had been staying with Gboyah for several days prior to his death.  Additional evidence at the scene, as well as witness statements, led to charges filed against Mohamed Baimba.  He is  believed to be traveling in a gold Honda Accord with Texas license plates FFX-3463.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Baimba or information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
