Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8300 Canyon
November 30, 2015 - The fatal shooting of a man at 8300 Canyon about 6 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 28) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The victim's identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Williamson and A. Vinogradov reported:
The male victim was involved in an argument with members of a family whom he was not related to. When the victim attempted to force his way into the family's residence, a family member shot him. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
