May 26, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 9500 Long Point Road about 9:20 p.m. last Friday (May 23).

The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer B. Roberts reported:

It is believed the victim, a pedestrian, was crossing Long Point Drive when he was struck by a maroon Dodge Caravan traveling eastbound.  The driver of the Caravan fled the scene.
