May 11, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman at 5639 Belneath about 8:35 a.m. last Friday (May 8).

The victim, Angela Denise Wafer, 43, suffered blunt force trauma to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Tolls and Senior Police Officer R. Cervantes reported:

Ms. Wafer's 13-year-old son found her lying on the floor of her bedroom.  She had suffered a blunt force injury to the head, apparently caused by a clothes iron.  There was no sign of forced entry.  The son was questioned and released.
