March 6, 2015 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 9126 Cullen Boulevard about 5:15 a.m. on March 2.
The suspect, described only as a black male, is seen in surveillance video walking with a possible limp and wearing distinctive tennis shoes. Surveillance video of the suspect can be veiwed on the HPD YouTube Channel at https://youtu.be/Jr20UFpQ_d0.
The victims, Jvoi Dorismond, 23, and Kennith Thomas, 27, were taken by private vehicle to a Pearland hospital where Mr. Dorismond was pronounced dead. Mr. Thomas suffered a non-life threatening wound.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.L. Holbrook and Senior Police Officer P. Vela reported:
The victims were in the McDonald's restaurant drive-through lane at the above address when an unknown black male suspect approached their vehicle. The suspect fired multiple shots, striking both victims, and fled the scene on foot. Mr. Thomas was able to drive to a Pearland hospital for treatment. However, his passenger, Mr. Dorismond, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
