June 22, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 12300 Alief Clodine that occurred about 9:50 p.m. last Friday (June 19).

The identity of the male victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer M. Sarafine reported:

A silver Nissan Sentra was traveling westbound on Alief Clodine and attempted to make a left turn onto Cook Road. The driver of the Nissan failed to yield the right-of-way when making the turn and was struck by the victim, operating a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle, traveling eastbound on Alief Clodine. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
