Fatal Crash at 5500 Little York
July 27, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 5500 Little York about 1 p.m. on Saturday (July 25).
The female victim, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Kung and Officer C. Cisneros reported:
The driver of a gray Ford Explorer was traveling westbound on Little York when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a ditch, and rolled over. The victim, a passenger in the Explorer, died at the scene. The driver was transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash. The investigation is continuing.
