Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 403 South Loop West
July 6, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 403 South Loop West (South Interstate Highway 610 West) about 8:10 p.m. on Saturday (July 4).
The victim, Wesley Keene, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Hassig and Senior Police Officer S. Spivey reported:
Mr. Keene was found deceased from a gunshot wound in the parking lot of KLAD Manufacturing at the above address. A preliminary investigation determined Keene had been contracted by the company to work as a security guard while the business was closed during the holiday weekend. Keene was found by a friend who went to check on him after receiving an inaudible voice message.
At this time, there is no known motive nor suspects.
