January 30, 2015 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 1800 Barker Cypress about 5 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 29).

The identity of the victim, believed to be in his late 30s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhoads and Officer R. Ridel reported:

The victim was found deceased inside an apartment at the above address.  Bruises were visible on his body.  The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will conduct an autopsy to determine the man's cause of death.
