January 15, 2015 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a male wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man found at 9400 Ketchwood Drive about 10:25 p.m. on October 13, 2014.
Known as "Bullet," the individual being sought is described only as a light-skinned black male with a slim build and numerous tattoos on his face and arms. He is known to frequent convenience stores on the corner of Bissonnet and Court Glen, as well as apartments in the Court Glen area, specifically those at the Crossings at Sedona 2.
One suspect, Phil Anthony Smallwood (b/m, 25), was arrested on November 6 in connection with this case. He is charged with capital murder in the 230th State District Court. A photo of Smallwood is attached to this news release.
The victim, Jonathan Wilkerson, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Dillingham and Officers V. McLean, C. Liu and G. Sullivan reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Wilkerson lying in the street, deceased.
Further investigation determined Wilkerson, suspect Smallwood, and a male known as "Bullet" were involved in a business transaction when Wilkerson was shot.
