January 8, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another man at 8000 Streamside about 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 7).

The identity of the male victim, 21, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Brooks and C. Cegielski reported:

Two groups of males got into an argument at the above address, which escalated when at least one suspect began shooting.  The victim was struck and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  A second male was wounded and is expected to survive.

The suspects are described only asthree to four black males in their early 20's.
