Investigation into Two Deaths at 1095 Marjorie
December 31, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the deaths of a male and a female found following a fire at 1095 Marjorie about 12:45 a.m. today.
The male victim suffered apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. A second victim, an elderly female, was transported to an area hospital where she later died. Her identity and cause of death are pending an autopsy.
HPD Homicide Division Officers S. Spivey and W. Huff reported:
HPD patrol officers, along with Houston Fire Department emergency personnel, responded to a house fire at the above address. HFD firefighters located the female victim alive inside the residence and she was immediately transported to the hospital. The male victim was also found deceased inside the residence.
Further investigation determined a vehicle belonging to the male was missing from the residence. It is believed to be stolen and is described as a 2002 blue Buick LeSabre with Texas license plates BN6 H224.
At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
