Fatal Crash at 14500 Old Galveston Road
December 4, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 14500 Old Galveston Road about 5:40 p.m. on Thursday (Dec. 3).
The identity of the male victim, 21, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer A. Mares reported:
The victim, a construction worker, was in an unprotected median at the above address when he was struck by a gray Lexus ES350. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. The female driver of the Lexus showed no signs of intoxication and was questioned and released with no charges filed at this time.
The investigation is continuing.
