Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 15500 Ridgerock
August 11, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 15500 Ridgerock about 1:20 a.m. on Monday (August 10).
The victim, Gary Moorehead, 41, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers X. Avila and L. Bailey reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting call at the above address. Upon arrival, they found Mr. Moorehead lying in the middle of the street. There are no known witnesses. However, during the course of the investigation, Moorehead's burned vehicle was located in the 6400 block of the South Sam Houston Parkway.
