Two unknown black male suspects, armed with guns, entered the Popeye's Fried Chicken restaurant at the above address and demanded money from the business. After obtaining money, the suspects walked outside toward a vehicle in the parking lot. Their actions were observed by an off-duty HPD officer, who attempted to intervene and discharged a weapon at the suspects. The suspects' vehicle was recovered a short time later. It had been burned.
Further investigation identified Xavier Johnson as one of the suspects in this case. He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds and has tattoos on his face, neck and arms. It is possible he was shot in the arm during the incident.
