October 6, 2014 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 9200 North Houston Rosslyn about 3:45 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 5).

The identity of the deceased male, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant W. Shields and Officer M. Serafine reported:

The victim was operating a red Honda motorcycle and traveling northbound on North Houston Rosslyn when his motorcycle struck the median and then a white Ford F-150 traveling southbound.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
