November 17, 2014 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in a robbery at 11807 Westheimer about 10:30 a.m. on October 21.  

The suspect is described only as a black male about 6 feet 4 inches tall, about 175 pounds, with short hair.  He wore a white shirt, dark pants and a do-rag.  Surveillance video of the suspect can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/wdjlGo1aQ1I.  Surveillance photos of the suspect are attached to this news release.  

The suspect entered the GameStop store located at the above address and inquired about purchasing a video game system and games.  The employee retrieved a game system from the back room and placed it on the counter.  When the employee turned to go back to the office, she saw the suspect pick up the game system from behind the counter and then grab a video game.  As the employee walked toward the suspect to stop him, he threatened to kill her if she followed him.  The suspect then fled the scene on foot southbound from the strip center.
