Investigation into Body Found at 211 Caplin
March 10, 2014 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man whose body was found following a house fire at 211 Caplin about 11:40 p.m. on Friday (March 7).
The victim, Pedro Vasquez, 69, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, foul play is not suspected.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer R. Nunez and Officer S. Overstreet reported:
Houston firefighters responded to a house fire at the above address. After extinguishing the fire, Mr. Vasquez was found in his bedroom. Members of the HFD Arson and HPD Homicide Divisions are investigating.
