March 7, 2014 - Houston police have released surveillance photos of a suspect vehicle believed to be involved in the fatal shooting of a man at 4926 Weeping Willow about 8:40 a.m. on Feb. 17.
The victim, Amides Artiga, 26, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer B. Nabors and Officer J. Rexroad reported:
Mr. Artiga was at home with his family when two unknown suspects kicked open the front door and entered the house at the above address. The suspects ransacked the house and then shot Artiga before fleeing westbound on Weeping Willow. The suspects are described only as two males wearing all black, with ski masks.
The suspects fled the scene in possibly a dark colored Chevrolet or GM four-door sedan. Surveillance photos of the wanted vehicle are attached to this news release.
