February 27, 2014 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 400 block of Little York Road about 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 26).
The victim, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Nickerson and Officer M. Rios reported:
The victim was operating a green Kawasaki ZX14 motorcycle at a high rate of speed eastbound on Little York when he struck the rear of a white Nissan Frontier pickup truck making a left turn from Little York onto O'Donnell Street. The victim died at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The driver of the Nissan was not injured.
