February 24, 2014 - The fatal stabbing of a man following an incident at 12265 Fondren #1313 about 4:50 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 22) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.

The male victim's identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Officers R. Ridel and J. Saldana reported:

The victim was transported in a private vehicle from an apartment complex at the above address to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital for treatment of multiple stab wounds to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Investigators interviewed a possible suspect and witness and will refer the case to a Harris County grand jury for review.
