December 17, 2014 - Houston police robbery investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects wanted in a robbery at 10100 Beechnut about 10:30 a.m. on November 15.
The suspects are described only as two black males. One, armed with a gun, is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 160 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark-colored hoodie, blue jeans, and had a green drawstring backpack. The other suspect is about 6 feet 3 inches tall, about 160 to 170 pounds and was wearing an LSU Tigers hoodie, and black sweat pants with white stripes.
Surveillance video of the suspects can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FahcxszhhQ. Surveillance photos of both suspects are attached to this news release.
The suspects entered the GameStop at the above address posing as customers. While talking on his cell phone, one suspect spoke with the store employee about game systems. The suspect then walked back to the front door and met with the other suspect, who pulled a bandanna over his face. Both suspects then approached the employee and, at gunpoint, demanded money from the back. When the employee told him there was no money, the suspects demanded gaming systems. As one suspect stood near the front door, the other suspect took the employee to the back of the store and stole two gaming systems. Both men then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
