May 20, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10155 East Freeway (Interstate Highway 10 East) service road about 1:35 a.m. on Sunday (May 19).

The identity of the victim, 31, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Elliott and Officer K. McDonald reported:

Witnesses heard multiple gunshots in the parking lot of the Motel 6 at the above address and saw two males dressed in dark clothing walking from the area and the victim lying on a sidewalk.  Paramedics were called and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
