January 31, 2012 - ton police have released surveillance photos in the fatal shooting of one man and wounding of three others at 3939 Tolnay about 6:30 p.m. last Saturday (Jan. 26). 

The deceased male, James E. Hawkins, 28, of Houston, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  Two other males, Jeremy Lockett, 26, and Kendrick Harris, 20, suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where they were treated for their injuries.  A third male, Ronnie Lewis, 20, suffered gunshots wounds and remains in critical condition at the same hospital. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Cisneros, Senior Police Officer C. Scales and Officer I. Ulloa reported: 

Two unknown armed male suspects entered a residence at the above address and shot Mr.'s Hawkins, Lockett, Harris and Lewis.  All four victims were transported to the hospital. 

A vehicle, believed to be a black 2004 to 2006 Kia Amanti was seen driving around the neighborhood prior to the shooting and fleeing the scene immediately after the shooting.
