February 20, 2012 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a child at 3663 South Dairy Ashford about 11:30 a.m today.

The deceased girl, 3, suffered an apparent severe asthma attack and was transported to the Texas Children's Hospital West Campus where she was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Richardson and Officer J. Dominguez reported:

The little girl was at a daycare facility at the above address when employees there stated she suffered a severe asthma attack. She was transported to the hospital where she died a few hours later.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will perform an autopsy.
