Update: Suspects Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 16966 Northchase
February 14, 2012 - Houston police are seeking the public's help in locating one of two suspects charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 16966 Northchase about 6:50 p.m. on December 24, 2012.
Kendall Allen (b/m, DOB: 11-29-91) and Dwayne Dedeon (b/m, 4-8-88) are charged with capital murder in the 263rd State District Court. At this time, suspect Dede remains at large and suspect Allen is in the custody of Louisiana law enforcement. Photos of both suspects are attached to this news release.
Both men are accused in the killing of Donald Williams, 29.
HPD Homicide Division Officers J. Horn and I. Duplechain reported:
Two or more black male suspects, one armed with a shotgun, ordered Mr. Williams and nearby witnesses to put their hands down. The suspect with the shotgun then fired multiple pellet rounds at Williams, striking him in his torso. Paramedics arrived shortly after the shooting and pronounced Williams deceased.
Further investigation identified Allen and Dede as suspects in this case. A third suspect, described only as a black male, is also believed to have taken part in the shooting.
