August 27, 2013 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 2605 Quitman about 8 a.m. on Monday (Aug. 26).

The victim, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Insititute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Rhoads and J. Burton reported:

The victim was found unresponsive by her boyfriend. He attempted CPR prior to HFD paramedics responding to the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
