August 26, 2013 - The fatal shooting of a man at 13138 Townwood Drive about 3:45 p.m. last Friday (August 23) will be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.

The deceased male is identified as David Charles Endsley, 19, of Fort Worth, Texas.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers T. Miller and M. Miller reported:

A resident of the above address set up a marijuana transaction involving Endsley and two other suspects as the buyers of the illegal drugs. The deal was conducted at the above residence when Endsley and the other two suspects pulled pistols and attempted to rob the resident and an additional witness inside the residence. The resident, 23, produced his own weapon and shot Endsley. The two other suspects ran to a nearby parked vehicle and fled the scene with the majority of the marijuana.

The shooting incident will be referred to a grand jury.
